HUTCHINSON , KAN. , Oct. 8, 2020 – Data Center Inc. (DCI), the privately-owned developer of iCore360® core banking software and related digital technologies for community banks nationwide, named Larry Witt, Chief Information and Operating Officer for Prosper Bank, Coatesville, Pennsylvania, as the recipient of the seventh annual Nation Meyer Innovative Banker Award.
The annual award recognizes a DCI banker for their contribution toward the betterment of banking for their community, the DCI family of banks and the industry as a whole, in honor of the company’s founder, Nation Meyer, and his legacy of innovative vision in banking technology and community collaboration that founded DCI in 1963.
Witt was selected from nominations submitted by DCI bankers and will receive a custom handblown glass award and $1,000 cash. He was presented the honor, virtually, at the DCI 2020 Virtual Bankers Conference in early October.
Witt was nominated by Prosper Bank President and CEO, Janak Amin, who praised him for his expertise in operations and information technology and for developing robust and secure IT environments. Amin added that in the nine months Witt has been with the bank, he has streamlined processes and workflows to create operational efficiencies, organized initiatives to update the bank’s technology and online banking platform, activated pandemic protocols, and contributed to the bank’s extensive rebranding initiative.
