Sr. Technical Support Analyst

JOB SUMMARY

Working in a call center environment, interacting with customers to deliver information and solutions to technical inquiries.  Projecting a professional organization image through communications via phone and other electronic communications.   A support analyst plays a vital role, liaising between various customers and business entities.  They are responsible to answer and direct customer technical questions and concerns.  Support analyst perform duties by telephone, email, or face to face. Occasional travel to customer or other DCI sites.

Responsibilities:

Sr. Technical Support Analyst

  • Handle calls, Request, and emails from external and internal customers.
  • Ability to multi-task, evaluate priority levels and escalate when necessary.
  • Ability to collect technical information from callers, document, resolve or transfer as appropriate.
  • Track each call and record details pertaining to the call through the call tracking system.
  • Support Branch and Merchant POD solutions.

Engineering Support and Development

  • Providing 1st level support and advice to DCI and DCI customers as needed.
  • Available for after-hours support.

Other

  • Provides back-up support to other staff as well as supports functions and duties performed by the Technical Implementation / Support department.
  • Is responsible for patch management of the systems managed by this department and for ensuring that patches are applied in a timely manner.
  • Ensures that personal work area and shared areas are maintained in a neat and organized manner.

Requirements:

  • Exposure to technical field and computer knowledge.
  • Knowledge of Server OS systems.
  • Understanding of the fundamentals of data communications.  
  • Exposure to database applications and host communications. 
  • Strong presentation and delivery skills.
  • Proactive and perseverance.
  • Operate well under tight / high pressure circumstances.
  • Strong verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to create good product knowledge base.
  • Strong interpersonal-relating skills.

Education

Associates degree in Computer Science or related, or equivalent work experience.

Experience

Minimum of two years work experience in related field. Banking work experience is a plus.
