Oracle Analyst

The Oracle Analyst will frequently confer with the Analytics Officer on projects and outstanding issues.  The primary responsibility of the Oracle Analyst will focus on the development of DCI Analytics (Oracle BIEE), including Subject Area modeling, report and analysis creation, creation of dashboards, research, and customer support.  This individual must possess a knowledge of reporting logic, ETL processes and of banking concepts. The ability to apply and communicate this knowledge and to work under minimum supervision is required.  The ability to be self-driven will be necessary as this individual will be given projects to do that they will need to take the reins on and work independently. The analyst is also responsible for maintaining close liaison with customers, and assisting banks in obtaining complete and satisfactory utilization of DCI products and services.

Essential Position Functions:

  • 1st and 2nd level customer support
  • Development of DCI Analytics components
  • Research and development assistance as required
  • Assist with new releases
  • Will be responsible for working with customers to migrate existing reports, as well as reporting outstanding needs to their supervisor

Customer Support & Product Development

  • Assists with design and testing of new projects and enhancements to the DCI Analytics application.
  • Provides back-up support to Customer Service Representatives in the Support Center and Demos by answering customer questions and concerns about assigned applications.

Other

  • Ability to lead projects and coordinate releases
  • Provides back-up to all functions and duties performed by the Analytics Officer
  • Ensures that personal work area and other shared departmental work areas  are maintained in a neat and organized manner.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of two years technical experience in Business Intelligence/data warehousing is mandatory
  • Three or more years work experience in financial services industry.
