Director of Vendor Management

JOB SUMMARY

Director of Vendor Management is responsible for origination and maintenance of third party vendor relationships; organizes vendor presentation and annual vendor visits; manages vendor due diligence process; responsible for managing inception/roll-out of new products; works with Sr. Management in producing and review pricing for all third party applications; responsible for management and maintenance of third party applications; responsible for the utilization of the DCI Vendor Management processes; responsible for day-to-day management of department staff.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinates implementations of third party software for clients.
  • Manages Vendor Due Diligence Process
  • Supervises and assists with setup and maintenance of iCore360 Vendor Management application.
  • Builds and maintains files on all third party vendors, including records of all products used and any other relevant information.
  • Manages and rolls out the inception of new products.
  • Coordinates releases of third party software.
  • Maintains and manages vendor relationships throughout the year.
  • Organizes and hosts annual visits of vendors to DCI facilities.
  • Works with Sr. Management to produce and review pricing for all ancillary products.
  • Negotiates new and renewing contracts with vendors as warranted by Sr. Management.
  • Analyzes vendor contracts with DCI attorney to be sure they meet all requirements.
  • Supervises maintenance of vendors’ history of delivery and quality of products and services.
  • Researches potential new vendors on an ongoing basis.
  • Supervises maintenance of Vendor Management/Selection modules of TRAC software.
  • Works with Information Security/Enterprise Risk Officer to design and maintain Vendor Management Policy and Vendor Management Standards Manual.
  • Facilitates timely resolution of customer issues with third party vendor interface and/or product.

Education

Bachelor of Business Administration, Accounting or related area or equivalent work history.

Experience

At least four years work experience in a financial or related industry dealing with vendor relationships
