DCI Promotes Fairbanks to Lead Frontline Support for Bank Software Developer


–Former Banker Keeps the Personal Touch in High Tech–

HUTCHINSON, KAN., July 9, 2020 – Data Center Inc. (DCI), the privately-owned developer of iCore360® core banking software and related digital banking technologies, has announced the promotion of Arlene Fairbanks to Customer Support Officer. 

Fairbanks, a former banker from Nebraska, joined the DCI customer support department in 2004 as a specialist to help bankers manage their deposit accounts using the DCI iCore360 software. It didn’t take long for DCI leaders to see that Fairbanks possessed a special ability to correlate her broad banking knowledge with the intricacies of the company’s software to help clients deftly handle nearly any banking task. As a result, she was selected to become the senior supervisor of the entire department.  

“Arlene has been instrumental in maintaining the outstanding customer care reputation that we are famous for,” said Sarah Fankhauser, DCI President and CEO. “The impact of her expertise and commitment on the support to our customers every day is invaluable.”

As Customer Service Officer, Fairbanks now oversees the entire daily frontline support for all the software applications the company offers, and coordinates directly with other departments and customers to maintain high service levels across other customer touchpoints.

When discussing DCI support services, coworkers and clients alike continually praise Fairbanks by name for her friendly manner, expert insight and patient guidance. In a recent message to DCI leadership, one customer commented, “I know we call [DCI support] too much, but all our staff loves working with Arlene and we will continue to call her, because she is so knowledgeable and helpful!”

Arlene lives in Hutchinson with her husband John and two children, and she enjoys staying active by swimming, bicycling, and traveling.
